The Omani Center for Arabic Language and Culture was opened on April 18, 2018.

The activities of the Omani Center are aimed at scientific and methodological support of teaching the Arabic language, conducting scientific research, conferences. There are also Olympiads, electives for students studying Arabic, translation master-classes, workshops, thematic exhibitions.

As part of this project, about three thousand books on the history, culture of the Sultanate of Oman and the Arabic language were donated to the Center.
